Materials needed: broken eye shadow pressing plate, 75% medical alcohol, toothpicks, paper, non-woven cotton pads (optional or not), a coin (preferably the same size as the eye shadow palette), double-sided tape (Used to stick the eyeshadow back into the eyeshadow palette)
1. First pick out the eye shadow with a toothpick and place it on the paper;
2. Use a toothpick to pick out the eye shadow iron plate to facilitate subsequent operations;
3. First pour half of the eye shadow powder back into the iron plate and add a few drops of alcohol;
4. Use the clean end of a toothpick to start “stirring”, then put the remaining eye shadow into the iron plate, and continue to add alcohol to mix;
5. After mixing, use a paper towel to pad the eye shadow, start pressing with a coin, and press until the alcohol (liquid) no longer leaks out;
6. After pressing, stick the double-sided tape on the empty disk and stick the eyeshadow iron disk back. You can use a paper towel to pad the eyeshadow so that your fingers will not touch it.
Tips:
1. It needs to be compacted but it is not recommended to press it very hard as it will make it difficult to get the powder. Theoretically, the lower the concentration of alcohol, the harder it will be when pressed, but it also depends on personal strength.
2. Adding glycerin will also make it difficult to get the powder. Generally, a bottle of alcohol can be used on the plate to get it.
3. It is recommended to press the light color first and then the dark color in the multi-color palette. Try to match one toothpick and wooden stick of each color to avoid color bleed.
4. The pattern of the tissue paper will be printed on the eye shadow~so you can choose the pattern you like for printing.
